  • Why Choose Cookerknife?

Knives are essential to the family, and it is particularly important to have a knife that suits you. Brands on the market have high prices, and the quality of knives in other places is often unsatisfactory.

That's why bridging the gap and creating a professional-grade knife that everyone can afford is so important to us. Our knives are hand forged, cutting out the middle man and eliminating traditional retail markups to create incredible knives at a great price.

  • Where is the order shipped from, how long will it take to receive it?

All US orders take 1-2 business days to process and 9-13 business days to arrive, our products are shipped from China warehouse.

For more details, please review our Shipping Policy.

  • What are the advantages of knives?

We forge our knives from some of the highest quality carbon steel so they stay sharp longer than traditional stainless steel knives.

  • Can knives be put in the dishwasher?

Our knives are made from rust resistant high carbon steel. However, we strongly recommend that you hand wash and dry your knives after each use. Do not machine wash.

  • What are the methods of maintaining knives?

    Hand wash after use.
Dry with a cloth after washing.
Store in a ventilated and dry place.
Clean and dry with a soft towel after use.
    Sand and polish it regularly.
Oil your knife regularly (cooking oil works too) to further prevent rust and corrosion.

  • What is hand forging?

Knife forging is the process of heating rods of steel and hammering them into knives. Cookerknife chooses high carbon steel, stainless steel or powdered super steel as the base material for its knives. While the steel is hot, it is stretched, hammered and formed into rough shapes, after which it can be heat treated and the shape refined. This process of treating steel with fire and heat is called forging, and combines the traditional art form with modern metallurgy to produce some truly fine forged knives.
